Over the years, I've drempt many times about the other side of the coin; not having Cerebral Palsy. My hopes always got shot down! Watching a movie this past-week with my family, really made me realize how frivolous this world can be. This society is set in their world of "being normal", but when you toss in someone with a physical handicap; shock-therapy begins. What I mean by that is, they will be thown of guard; won't know how to deal with it! Even though that actor did a great job, he was just pretending! Lately, a lot of inspiring films are being made, which some do deal with the disabled.

Others may be touched; having a tear trickle down their cheek. I find myself bawling, not because I'm being touched, but because they have no idea what it's really like. The thing that really tops it off; the actor get a reward for that part they played. Many times, I wish that was me who's only playing a part! I think that some would really like to know what it's like to be challenged physically, so they can help someone eles. There are many intentions others have that we don't know about. What I can tell you is, no matter how hard you try to understand what I or some other disabled person is going through, pretending to will not help; this is not a movie!
